IRVINE, Calif., (February 9, 2009) - Thompson National Properties, LLC, announced today that Scott Hay joined the company as Vice President, Acquisitions for the TNP/SLI Green Building Fund effective January 5, 2009.
Hay manages the acquisition of real estate for the TNP/SLI Green Building Fund, a $100 million fund sponsored by Thompson National Properties and Shangri-La Industries. The objective of the TNP/SLI Green Building Fund is to invest in value-add commercial and industrial assets that can be retrofitted, repositioned or redeveloped as energy efficient and environmentally sustainable, LEEDr (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified properties.

Previously, Hay served as Senior Acquisitions Associate at Grubb & Ellis Realty Investors, LLC, formerly Triple Net Properties, LLC. Hay earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California and Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Stanford University where he also worked at the Stanford University Architect/Planning Office.
