IRVINE, Calif., (February 2, 2009) - Thompson National Properties, LLC, announced today that Candace Rice joined the company as Senior Vice President, Accounting.
Rice will build and manage the accounting team that is responsible for more than 8.7 million square feet under management. "Candace has a wealth of experience in both managing staff and financial reporting for large diversified real estate portfolios," said Johnna Howard, Chief Financial Officer. "We are pleased that she is joining TNP because she will be a leader in the growth of the company.

Previously, Rice was Vice President of Property Accounting at Grubb & Ellis Realty Investors, LLC, formerly Triple Net Properties, LLC, where she was responsible for managing the accounting and financial reporting for 33 million square feet of commercial office space and 26 multifamily properties. Prior to this, Rice held various positions at Hireright, Inc., Brown & Brown, Inc. and Deloitte & Touche LLP.
Rice earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration with an emphasis in accounting from Chapman University. Additionally, she is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) for the State of California.
