IRVINE, Calif., (September 3, 2008) – Thompson National Properties, LLC announced today that Neil M. Miller joined the company as chief operating officer and general counsel effective August 11, 2008.

Miller is involved in all aspects of the company’s activities, including joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, product development and operations as well as directing its legal firms.

Previously, Miller was executive vice president and chief financial officer at Guardian Companies, a group of diversified real estate and operating companies with operations in Arizona and California. Prior to Guardian, Miller was executive vice president and chief financial officer at American Golf Corporation and National Golf Properties. Miller earned a juris doctorate degree from Pepperdine University School of Law, a master’s degree in business administration from Washington University Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Indiana University. Miller is a member of the State Bar of California.
