IRVINE, Calif., (April 22, 2008) – Thompson National Properties, LLC announced today it has named Jack Maurer vice-chairman, partner and founding member.

"Jack’s experience provides Thompson National Properties with strategic planning, insight and tremendous real estate experience," said Tony Thompson, chairman and chief executive officer of Thompson National Properties.

Prior to joining Thompson National Properties, Maurer co-founded Triple Net Properties, LLC in 1998 and was executive vice president and chief financial officer until December 2001 when he was named executive vice president, sales and marketing. In addition, Maurer was president and CEO of T REIT, Inc. from August 2004 to July 2007. Maurer also held the position of executive vice president and chief financial officer of NNN Capital Corp., now Grubb & Ellis Securities, Inc., from September 1998 until November 2007.

Maurer earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from California State University, Northridge and was a Certified Public Accountant from 1973 until 2001. Maurer holds series 7, 24, 27 and 63 licenses with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority.
